Cape Cod Christian Academy, a nonprofit University-Model® school, was established in response to the COVID-19 pandemic to meet the needs of families seeking a different approach to education. When students were abruptly shifted to remote learning, many parents began to recognize the value of being more actively involved in their children’s education. Many families appreciated the opportunity to impart their faith and values, provide a safe and nurturing environment, and tailor learning to their child’s unique interests and needs. Cape Cod Christian Academy supports families by offering curriculum, lesson planning, and classroom instruction that empowers parents to play a central role in their child’s academic journey. The school welcomed its first students in the summer of 2020 and received its 501(c)(3) determination on September 8, 2020. In the summer of 2023, it achieved accreditation through Cognia and officially became a private school under the oversight of a board of directors.
